Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 16, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Uploog. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our cloud-to-cloud file transfer service.

2. How We Handle Your Files

We do NOT store your files. Uploog acts as a conduit between your cloud providers (Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox) and external web links. Files are streamed through our servers in memory and are immediately discarded once the transfer completes. No copies of your downloaded or transferred files are ever written to our permanent disks.

3. Information We Collect

We strictly minimize the data we collect. When you log in or connect a cloud drive, we collect:
  • Your basic profile information (email address) to identify your account.
  • OAuth 2.0 access and refresh tokens, which are heavily encrypted at rest in our database.
  • Basic transfer logs (file names and sizes) directly necessary to calculate your monthly data quota.

4. Third-Party Access Scopes

We request strictly necessary OAuth scopes from Google, Microsoft, and Dropbox to perform read and write operations on your behalf. We do not use these scopes for any purpose other than executing the specific file transfers you manually initiate. We never share, sell, or expose your tokens to third parties.

5. Data Deletion

You can revoke our application's access to your cloud drives at any time from your Google, Microsoft, or Dropbox security settings. If you wish to have your Uploog account and all associated encrypted tokens permanently deleted from our database, please contact us.
